Dr. Angelika Dzieza is dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive periodontal care with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice. She takes pride in staying at the forefront of clinical advancements to help patients achieve both functional and esthetic oral health outcomes.
Born in Poland, Dr. Dzieza immigrated to the United States at the age of 9. Her journey inspired a strong work ethic and a lifelong commitment to service, education, and patient-centered care.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Scranton, earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in Biochemistry and Psychology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, where she was honored with multiple awards for academic and clinical excellence, including the American Academy of Periodontology Award and the Pierre Fauchard Academy Senior Student Award. Dr. Dzieza completed her specialty training in Periodontics at the University of Iowa, where she also earned a Masters in Oral Science. Her thesis research explored innovative approaches to periodontal therapy using non-thermal plasma technology.
Throughout her training, Dr. Dzieza has developed extensive clinical expertise in regenerative periodontal therapy, soft tissue grafting, guided bone regeneration, alveolar ridge preservation, sinus augmentation, and complex implantology.
Her implant experience spans all phases of care—from site development and surgical placement to maintenance and long-term success. She is certified in moderate sedation and skilled in digital implant planning, enabling her to deliver precise, comfortable, and predictable treatment outcomes.
Dr. Dzieza also has advanced training in intraoral photography, which she uses to enhance diagnostic accuracy, treatment planning, and patient education.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Dzieza is passionate about education and service. She has served as a team teacher in periodontal clinics, mentored dental students, and participated in multiple outreach initiatives.
Her commitment to community care spans over a decade and includes volunteering at animal shelters, food programs, and distributing dental supplies to underserved populations. Outside the practice, Dr. Dzieza enjoys singing and finds joy in music of all kinds.
She loves exploring local restaurants, and spending time with her beloved dog and cat. She is excited to call Tallahassee home and is committed to building lasting relationships with her patients and the local community.
