The Kearney Center is an organization that helps the homeless in the greater Tallahassee area. They provide a number of services beyond basic shelter and have a goal to have those who are currently homeless get back on their feet and help with job placement as well.
The dental clinic started because so many of their clients that were seeking medical care were doing so due to dental pain. The dental clinic helps with extractions, fillings, and dentures. During our time working there, Dr. B and I provided more than $600,000 worth of dentistry to the community.
