Dr. Matt Rasmussen recently participated in Stars, Stripes & Smiles, a well-known Tampa Bay event that brings together dental professionals to provide free dental care for veterans. Organized with support from local dental associations, the event offers no-cost cleanings, exams, X-rays, and essential treatment for veterans who may not have access to regular or comprehensive dental services. This annual initiative focuses on improving oral health, relieving discomfort, and ensuring that veterans receive the care they deserve.
Volunteering at this event aligns closely with our mission at Periodontics and Implant Dentistry of Tallahassee. Dr. Matt is committed to supporting community programs that expand access to high-quality periodontal and implant care, especially for groups who often face barriers to treatment. Participating in Stars, Stripes & Smiles allowed him to use his skills in periodontics, implant dentistry, and oral health education to make a direct impact on the well-being of those who have served our country.
